Rattling Sound on Ford fiesta?

no it is not normal for the exhaust to be loose, you just found your rattle. one or more of the hangars has broken, or else the muffler has rusted through. Its hard to tell from here, but the best thing to do is call your trusted mechanic and get a referral to a good muffler shop and get an inspection. If the exhaust system has rusted apart, the vehicle will actually run better when you have it fixed. Often times a bracket can break, so it may be a simple fix. I would get this done as soon as possible, sometimes the weight hanging will break other things and the exhaust pipe could fall off althogether on the roadway.
