Please help! more boy troubble?

Last night i went out with friends and when we got to the place we always go this guy wes there (mr x) that i have been talking to on msn for about a year. hes let me down loads of time and has made me cry on several occasions but when hes nice hes really really nice and its well worth the bad times. anyways when we were out i had a bit to drink and when over and talked to him. we ended up dancing together for ages and then we kissed and so on. he was sober and he said he wanted me for the first time to my face. do you think he was genuine or just trying to take advantage? also there is another girl (miss y) who likes him and she was also there last night. they did dance briefly and she made an effort with him but he just walked of looking for his friends. do you think he likes her? please help! this is all so confusing and i have my GCSEs in a week! ahhhhhh. lol
