Is the bride asking to much?

I was asked to be in the wedding of dear friend of mine. While I'm honored and said yes I'm wondering if the bride is asking too much from me. In all other weddings I have been in the bridesmaid dresses were paid for and then we were required to wear our make up the same way and pay for out hair to be done. For this wedding the bride is expecting me to pay for and $300 gown and has asked me to do the make-up for the entire wedding party gratis "as her wedding gift". As make-up artist for an even the size of hers I would charge $2,500. On top of it all, this is a destination wedding and the airfare alone will cost $1500. Am I being unreasonable in thinking that she being a bit too demanding or am I right to think about stepping down? Or would be it acceptable to ask her to cover the cost of my dress and airfare as payment for doing the make-up for the wedding party.
