How do I start Blacksmithing in FFXIV?

From what I remember from beta, I had to complete some guildleves from the Blacksmith Guild to get started. I don't know where the Blacksmith NPCs are in the different towns, but I do remember I picked it up from Piralnaut in Limsa Lominsa :)
